About Us
Géraldine Javoy was born and bred in the vineyards of the Loire Valley. It was perhaps as a young girl watching her father’s creation of the cabernet and chardonnay wine that Géraldine learnt to appreciate craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The latter coupled with a strong artistic talent lead Géraldine to the Ecole du Louvre in Paris. Graduating in 2000 after seven years of study she is one of the few to have completed her “thèse” specialising in hand printed wall papers of the 18th & 19th centuries.
Moving to London in 2000, Géraldine undertook a stint at both Sotheby's and Bonham's auction houses. However, with the advent of a young family and an accompanying wish to return to a more tactile pursuit she began training to become a bookbinder with Shepherds of Rochester Row, London.
Since she has moved to Ireland, she joined the Craft Council of Ireland, the Fuchsia  Brand  and is a member of the West Cork Craft and Design Guild. Please see the links page for more informations.
Géraldine now creates by hand a wide range of papercraft – from journals to guest books to photo  albums, frames and  boxes. She is also creating post cards and canvases with collage of Japanese paper patterns on watercolour and acrylic.
